CHANGELOG · NEW

The appointment screen, rebuilt — and one library to write from

3 min read

This is the biggest change to the day-to-day screens since Rebrief launched. Here is what is different.

  • The appointment screen is a row of tabs. Every appointment now opens as tabs under the patient's name: Transcript first, then your note, then + Create at the end. The tooth and gum charts stay up beside the note the whole time, so you are never hunting for the chart. Each note carries its own bar — the template it is written onto, Regenerate, undo and redo, and one Export menu holding Copy, PDF and the push into your practice-management software.
  • + Create, for everything else a visit needs. The last tab opens a menu: a second note, a document, a form, a dictation, or a new template. It also offers up to three suggestions drawn from what has actually been said in the room — a note template your words match, or a letter whose trigger phrase came up. They are only ever suggestions; nothing is written until you pick it.
  • A second note in one appointment. When a hygiene visit turns into an extraction, you can start a second note without ending the appointment. The first note is marked finished, the second picks up where the conversation changed, and the visit stays one appointment with one chart and one transcript.
  • One template library. Note templates, documents and forms now live in one place, with All, Notes, Docs and Forms across the top, your favourites pinned as cards, and search and filters below. Forms are the new part: upload a PDF your clinic already uses, confirm its blanks once, and Rebrief fills the whole thing in a single pass from then on.
  • Share a template with the profession. Any template you can edit can be published at its own public page for other clinics to use, and Browse community shows you what other clinics have shared. Rebrief scans a template for anything resembling patient information before it publishes, and refuses if it finds any.
  • Copy and PDF, on every tab. Copy puts what is on the tab on your clipboard, ready to paste. PDF builds a printable page on your clinic's own letterhead — your clinic's name and details, the appointment's date, the patient, the content, and numbered pages. It works from the note, the transcript, a document, a filled form, an AfterCare™ summary, and the chart.
  • Rebrief Learn. The clinical questions you already ask chairside now count for something. Each cited answer becomes a short reading unit on a learning path, with a quiz at the end and a certificate you can download.
  • A new home screen, built around your appointments. Your recent notes run across the screen as a row of cards you flick through, with today's schedule underneath and a short pre-appointment summary when you hover a patient. View all appointments slides in the full list, with search and filters.
  • Better evidence answers. A chairside answer now leads with its key points in their own box, carries a citation on every claim, and offers follow-up questions underneath. Ask during a live appointment and the answer is written against what has been said in the room, and says so.
  • A credit counter instead of a limit. The per-appointment turn limit is gone. In its place is one number — the AI credits left in your current period — shown wherever you ask.
  • Simpler navigation. The left rail is down to six rooms: Scribe, Evidence, Learn, Tasks, Patients and Templates. Help and support are one menu now, not two.

All of it is on for every practice today, and nothing changes about how a visit starts — press New appointment as usual.
