Supported practice-management systems
Rebrief connects to a growing list of practice-management systems (PMSs) so your schedule and patient records can flow into the app. Here's what's supported today, how each one connects, and what's on the way.
Installed on a Windows computer (via the Bridge)
These systems connect through the Bridge — a small application you install on a Windows computer in your practice, typically the same machine that runs your practice-management software:
- Open Dental
- Dentrix
- Eaglesoft
- AbelDent
- Tracker (The Bridge Network)
- MaxiDent (Maxim Software Systems)
Once the Bridge is connected, it keeps your schedule and patient records in sync with Rebrief.
Runs in your web browser
Medesync (TELUS Health) connects differently, since it runs in your web browser rather than as desktop software. Rebrief reads your schedule directly from an open Medesync tab, then matches that day's patients to your records — just keep Medesync open in your browser; it doesn't need to be your active tab.

Note: If Rebrief sees one of these running in your practice, it will tell you it recognizes your system but doesn't support it yet — instead of simply reporting that no practice-management system was found.
Don't see your system?
Connecting a PMS is optional. If yours isn't listed above, you can still chart appointments, dictate notes, and use templates in Rebrief just as you would with a connected system — you'll just handle patient and schedule entry manually instead of through automatic import. As soon as support for your system ships, you'll be able to connect it without changing how you work day to day.
Tip: Not sure which category your system falls into? If it's software installed on a computer at your practice, it connects through the Bridge; if you access it by logging into a website, it connects through your browser like Medesync.
