Your chats about a patient
When you ask Rebrief about a patient, the chat is filed under that patient. You can find it again on Home, on their appointments and on their page.
Which chats are filed under a patient
Rebrief files a chat under a patient when you ask it in one of these ways.
- On the patient's page, or on one of their appointments.
- On Home or the Scribe page while their appointment is under way.
- With the patient picked using @ in the prompt bar.
A chat stays filed under its patient for good. A question about no one stays on its own.
Only you see your chats. A colleague's chats about the same patient stay in their own list.
On Home
Home's side list keeps each patient's chats under that patient. Only chats about no one stand on their own.
- A chat asked in one of their recent appointments sits under that appointment. Point at the appointment's row and select its arrow. The chat is listed after the appointment's Transcript, notes and Tasks.
- Any other chat about them sits under a row with their name and a people icon. Select the row's arrow to show the chats. Select the name to open their page.
The row holding the chat you have open opens by itself. A pinned chat stays at the top, under Pinned.
Search and the filter list every matching chat on its own, so nothing hides inside a row.
At the top of an open chat, the patient's name opens the appointment it was asked in. If it wasn't asked in an appointment, the name opens their page.
On an appointment
Two tabs near the end of the appointment's tab row, just before + Create, hold this patient's chats.
- Evidence appears once you have asked Rebrief about this patient. Its number counts those chats. The list shows This appointment first, then Earlier.
- Tasks is on every appointment. It holds the follow-ups Rebrief wrote from the note. Below them, With Rebrief lists jobs you asked Rebrief to do for this patient in your practice software.
The Evidence tab needs a patient linked to the appointment. An appointment with No patient linked files chats under no one.
On the patient's page
The patient's page comes with every paid plan. Evidence and Tasks sit after Overview, History and Chart. Each shows a count, and appears only when you have a chat of that kind about the patient.
- Evidence lists your questions about the patient.
- Tasks lists the jobs Rebrief did for them in your practice software.
The newest chat comes first. A chat asked in an appointment shows that appointment's date, for example Appointment Oct 12.
Read and ask in a tab
- Select a chat to open it right in the tab.
- Type more in Ask a follow-up… at the bottom.
- Select the back arrow to return to the list.
To start a new chat, type your question in Ask about this patient… and press Enter. The new chat is filed under the patient.
A question asked in a patient's tab is about that patient. That holds even while another appointment is under way.
Open in Evidence, at the top of an Evidence tab, opens Home, where every chat is listed.
Answers that point to the record
When an answer draws on the patient's record, a small chip follows each fact it used.
- A chip like Oct 29 visit opens that appointment.
- A chip for a record from your practice software, like Medical history · Oct 29, opens the patient's page.
- A chip after a patient's name opens their page.
Select a chip to check where a fact came from.
